On October 1st, WWE’s NXT brand is going to start their tenure on The CW network. On the lead-up to the premiere show, talents of the brand have been doing a plethora of media to promote it.
There is a piece that WCCB Charlotte rolled out about NXT and they caught up with the brand’s North American Champion, Oba Femi. Femi described NXT as the NCAA of wrestling.
NXT is the NCAA of wrestling and NXT gives you the opportunity to see what the future generation is right now before they become what they’re going to be.
Femi has been in possession of the North American Title since January. He is less than 20 days away from becoming the longest-reigning North American Champion of all-time.
