Miz blindsides Truth.
For the first time since being taken out by Bronson Reed in August, R-Truth made his return to WWE TV. He appeared in a backstage segment with The Miz and Braun Strowman.
Truth went on to relay the news to Miz that they’ll be in tag action against A.O.P. (Akam & Rezar). Come match time, Miz blindsided Truth. He gave him a kick to the face and left him to fend for himself against AOP. Rezar and Akam picked up the win.
Awesome Truth reunited and the duo went on to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania XL. They held the titles for two months before dropping the belts to Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor and J.D. McDonagh.
