The deal is finalized.
As first reported by Variety, All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery reached a new multi-year rights deal. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Variety noes that it is valued at upwards of $150 million per year when all elements are factored into the equation.
AEW’s Dynamite and Collision programs will remain on TBS and TNT respectively, but AEW will begin streaming their live programming on HBO Max simultaneously for U.S. subscribers. That will be available to stream on-demand in January 2025.
Company President Tony Khan gave a statement about the renewal and there were comments from Kathleen Finch, Chairman and CEO of US Networks for Warner Bros. Discovery.
The deal includes enhanced distribution rights across social media in addition to potential new AEW programming on linear and digital platforms. AEW’s live pay-per-views will be up on Max later in 2025 at a discounted price. All marketing and promotion of those events will be exclusively centered on Max.
