The Elite vs. Shibata Party

This week’s edition of Rampage kicked off with The Elite members The Young Bucks and Jack Perry taking on Private Party and Katsuyori Shibata. The match began with Shibata dominating Perry but losing out to distraction as the heel team took over.

Early in the match, Stokely Hathaway was shown watching the match just as he was their quick win over The Iron Savages this past week on Dynamite.

In the end, Private Party interrupted the TK Driver and rolled up Matthew Jackson for the victory.

Stat & Kamille

Kris Statlander was interviewed by Renee Paquette and she said that the Street Fight against Willow Nightingale was the end of an era for her and she was happy to be striving out on her own. She called herself a “Born Again Kristin” and “the toughest, strongest” and before she could continue Kamille interrupted getting in her face and saying that her match was next with Mercedes Moné popping in saying “You better watch, bitch!”

Harley Cameron with a Saraya Update

Renee Paquette was then with Harley Cameron who said that Saraya was currently incapacitated and Queen Aminata was in a lot of trouble as they had a match later tonight.

Kamille “In Action”

Next up was “The Brickhouse” Kamille taking on Zoey Lynn. Kamille hit a spear as the bell rang and then hit what appeared to be an inverted Cross Rhodes for the win in under twenty seconds.

Will Ospreay, Anna Jay Fan

Renee Paquette then had her third straight backstage interview, asking Anna Jay noting that Will Ospreay had nice things to say about Anna Jay’s return match last week. Anna Jay said that if Will is seeing it, she knows the rest of the women’s locker room is seeing it and they need to just “try” her.

Deonna & Taya

Deonna Purrazzo said that she has shown Taya Valykrie respect by owning her misstep and anyone who refuses to give respect will get it beaten into them.

Queen Aminata vs. Harley Cameron

Next was The Outcasts’ Harley Cameron taking on Queen Aminata. Aminata won with The Queen’s Crown in eight minutes. After the match, Serena Deeb jumped Aminata and had her in a single leg crab on the bottom rope when Dr. Britt Baker came out to run her off.

The Acclaimed feat. New Jacket

Renee was at it again, this time interviewing The Acclaimed. Max Caster was wearing his “updated” jacket thanks to MxM Collection. Hans Gunn wondered how stupid MxM could be to not know it was him last week. Max claimed he loved his new jacket and they were going to give MxM a makeover.

The Conglomeration vs. The Learning Tree

The Rampage main event saw The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly taking on The Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

Chris Jericho who was on commentary ran down to the ring and distracted referee Aubrey Edwards as Bryan Keith tapped to Kyle O’Reilly’s ankle lock submission. This led to the newest member of The Conglomeration Rocky Romero coming out and taking out Jericho as things broke down and the face team picked up the victory.

Announced for Collision Tomorrow Night:

  • Darby Allin vs. Johnny TV
  • Willow Nightingale vs. Trish Adora
  • Kris Statlander In Action
  • 4-Way Match: Hologram vs. Komander vs. Nick Wayne vs. Action Andretti
  • 3- Way Match #1 Contender’s Match: Private Party vs. House of Black vs. Top Flight

Final Thoughts

While the opening match was pretty decent, it certainly isn’t required viewing for AEW fans. The most notable story coming out of this show was Kamille (and by association TBS Champion Mercedes Moné) setting her sights on Kris Statlander who seemingly will be transitioning to a face.
