Week two of NXT on The CW Network is emanting from The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri. Among the matches scheduled for the show is Randy Orton versus 20-year-old Je’Von Evans.
Evans found out about Orton’s challenge after a match on the 9/17 NXT. Orton’s tweet was shown on the main screen and it was legitimately the first time Je’Von was learning about it. Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer did a piece about Shawn Michaels and Michaels said they did not tell Je’Von because they wanted a genuine reaction out of him.
We didn’t tell him (Je’Von Evans) because we wanted it to be genuine.
