GUNTHER picked a fight with Goldberg.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque appeared at Bad Blood to unveil the Crown Jewel Championship, which will have its first set of winners at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on November 2nd.
The Undisputed WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion will face each other and the WWE Women’s Champion and Women’s World Champion will face each other in non-title matches. The winners are going to be crowned Crown Jewel Champion.
When it was announced, out came the current World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. He talked about his title defense against Sami Zayn on Monday Night Raw. He said he wanted to put the spotlight on the legends in attendance and focused on Goldberg. He told Goldberg he lied when he told Bret Hart that Goldberg is his favorite wrestler.
GUNTHER called him a one-trick pony and told Goldberg’s son Gage that he hopes the WWE Hall of Famer was a better father than he was a wrestler. Goldberg jumped the barricade, but security stopped him.
Sami Zayn joined the mix and ambushed GUNTHER and they brawled to the backstage area. While in the ring, Goldberg said GUNTHER is ‘next.’
