Ripley defeated Morgan via DQ.
The Women’s World Championship match at WWE Bad Blood saw the champion Liv Morgan defend against Rhea Ripley. Dominik Mysterio was suspended in the air in a shark cage to prevent interference.
There was a point in the match when Ripley was dominating Morgan, so Dominik opened the cage door while in the air. He ended up slipping out of it, but his leg was caught in a chain so he was dangling from the cage upside down.
Rhea went up to Dominik and beat him with a kendo stick. She was then ambushed from behind by the returning Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel last wrestled in December 2023. She had been off WWE television because she was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
The match between Morgan and Ripley was thrown out due to Rodriguez’s attack. Ripley won, but Morgan holds onto the title.
