Vaquer to face Madi Wrenkowski in singles action.
The first match of NXT’s tenure on The CW Network was Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Championship against Giulia. Perez retained the title with an assist from the returning Cora Jade.
Perez and Jade shared the ring on the 10/8 NXT. Jade further elaborated on why she decided to assist Perez and said she wanted to make everyone pay for forgetting about her.
Prior to the segment, there was an interview with Giulia, but someone entered the room off-camera and Giulia referred to said individual as an ‘old friend.’ When she came out to the ring to confront Perez and Jade, joining her was Stephanie Vaquer.
The two fought off Jade and Perez. Vaquer and Giulia then proceeded to simultaneously pick up the NXT Women’s Championship while staring down their opposition.
Following that segment, Madi Wrenkowski was backstage with No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights & Myles Borne) and said she’ll be facing Vaquer on the 10/15 NXT.
