Members of the band spoke about the moment.

WWE’s 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event was headlined by The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu) taking on Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

An orchestra played Reigns to the ring and for Rhodes, the HBCU – University of Arkansas Pine Bluff band played ‘Kingdom’ and their rendition was mixed with the actual song playing in the arena. Rhodes first caught wind of the band when they played ‘Kingdom’ at a football game.

Following the appearance at Bad Blood, members of the band were profiled by KARK 4 News and reflected on the experience.

Elijah Washington: Just seeing all the wrestlers, a few celebrities, it was just like a wow factor. By the time the performance came, all of those people singing along with the song, it was crazy. It was just, woah.

Benjamin Taylor: Every night around 6 o’clock, Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, gotta catch it. We never had the time or money to go and then I get to go for free and perform in it? Man. It was just an unreal experience. Just real happy in that moment.

Band director John Graham Jr.: It was like watching a movie being made right in front of us.

During the match, Jimmy Uso made his return to WWE and reunited with Roman Reigns. The conclusion of the show saw the return of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

He posted a post-show promo to his Instagram page and to read a transcript of Johnson’s comments, click here.
