Candice LeRae is the first-ever WWE Speed Women’s Champion.

LeRae overcame IYO SKY in the grand final of an eight-woman bracket, earning her a title in the new WWE web series.

LeRae blocked an Over The Moonsault from SKY, then scored a springboard moonsault of her own to win the match and claim the new title.

The victory makes LeRae the first women’s champ in WWE’s recently launched series hosted on X (formerly known as Twitter). The show presents title tournaments with short time limits, often three minutes for a regular match and five minutes for a title bout. Just one match airs per episode, making it some of the quickest in-ring content the promotion has regularly produced.

LeRae, who had previously only earned an NXT tag title alongside Indi Hartwell in her WWE run, got past Piper Niven and Kairi Sane earlier in the bracket to secure a spot in the finals.

SKY, who has been chasing a new title after her run with the WWE Women’s World Championship came to an end in April, secured a grand final spot after beating Lyra Valkria and Naomi in earlier rounds of the tournament.

With the first-ever women’s tournament out of the way, Speed will now host a men’s bracket. The winner of the upcoming tournament will meet Andrade, the division’s defending champ. Here are the opening-round matchups:

  • Sheamus vs. Giovanni Vinci
  • Bron Breakker vs. Cruz Del Toro
  • Dragon Lee vs. Tavion Heights
  • Akira Tozawa vs. Riley Osborne
