New Junior Tag Champions.
The first championship match of the night at NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling was the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title match.
BULLET CLUB War Dogs’ Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney put the titles on the line against the duo of Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA.
Dating back to February 2024, Connors and Moloney had been in possession of the titles but that came to an end at King of Pro-Wrestling. Knight secured the win for his team and it is now the second time him and KUSHIDA have held the Junior Tag Titles.
They lost the belts to Moloney and Connors in February. KUSHIDA is now a four-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
