Powerhouse Hobbs could be back on AEW programming any day now.

After nearly six months on the sidelines due to a ruptured patellar tendon, Hobbs recently confirmed that he is once again cleared to compete. He mentioned his ability to compete once again in a recent interview with In The Kliq.

“Me being me, I’ve been cleared,” he said. “Healed up pretty fast. You know, got that Wolverine serum in me a little bit. But yeah, I’m cleared. I’m back. It’s already been put out in the universe and in the internet world that I’m cleared. So, it’s time to pick up where I left off.”

Hobbs didn’t specify when he might return to AEW, instead leaving things vague: “You’ve got to stay tuned. You never know when I may show up.”

Hobbs suffered the major injury during a title match against Jon Moxley earlier this year on AEW Dynamite. It was the first significant setback for Hobbs since he joined AEW in 2020, having not gone more than two months without a match prior to the incident.
