Lio Rush will miss Saturday’s RevPro Global Wars show in England due to travel issues.

The AEW-signed star had been due to face Mascara Dorada on Saturday evening. He expressed his disappointment after overnight travel delays meant he could not make the show.

The 29-year-old made it to the UK but not in time to get to Doncaster for the event.

RevPro released the following statement on social media:

Unfortunately due to overnight travel issues Lio Rush will not make it to Doncaster in time for today’s show. We apologise for the late notice of this. Lio is safely in the UK now but won’t be able to make it in time.

Rush stated:

My heart sank the moment i knew i wasn’t going to make it in time for the show. Was looking forward to this all week. I’m sure I will see you guys again very soon, but still extremely gutted. Have fun tonight guys.
