Toni Storm was defeated in her CMLL debut at Arena Mexico on Friday night by La Catalina.

The match was part of the double main event of the Viernes Espectacular show in Mexico City.

It was Storm’s first match in Mexico. She lost after La Catalina hit her top rope splash to score the pinfall. Storm took to the mic after the bell and vowed to return.

Later, backstage, Storm told La Catalina that she had “got lucky” and should get ready for the “ass-whooping of the ages”.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has not wrestled for her home promotion since losing her title to Mariah May at All In on August 25th at Wembley Stadium.
