Ethan Page has taken his mind games to the studio.
Ahead of his match against NXT Champion Trick Williams this weekend as part of the brand’s Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event (PLE), former champ Page has targeted his rival with a diss track.
In a year where diss records have been a huge talking point in music due to the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Page has decided it was his turn to take aim at a rival, going after the opponent he will face this weekend in a Devil’s Playground match.
In the song, he mocks Williams for only turning to wrestling after chasing a career in football (“Ethan Page about to be the Plan B pill for your Plan B career”) and brags about how he will win at Halloween Havoc (“When you lay down, better stay down / October 27th I’m the Devil in the playground”).
The video ends with a report which seemingly pretends to be from the future, informing viewers in a matter-of-fact fashion that Page defeated Williams at the upcoming show to gain his belt back.
