  • Anna Jay over Leila Grey in 3:13

  • Ricochet over Nick Wayne in 13:14 (Recommended)

Three-Way Tag Team Match

AEW Rampage kicked off with the three-way tag team match that was promoted a week ago on Rampage which marks the first Rampage continuity in recent memory. Roderick Strong was on commentary for this with Undisputed Kingdom taking on Gates of Agony and Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty.

All three teams impressed in this match but in the end, Taven & Bennett came out on top as one might expect.

The Master of the Kentucky Meat Shower

Renee Paquette asked BEEF about his “second cousin by marriage”, Anthony Henry. BEEF said Henry is all messed up right now and he won’t get back to him and won’t give him JD Drake’s number. BEEF then turned his attention to Beast Mortos when JD Drake appeared and wished him luck tonight which excited him greatly.

UK and Frank Mortos

Undisputed Kingdom told “Frank” Beast Mortos that they wished they could be out there with him tonight for his match against BEEF.

Anna Jay vs. Leila Grey

Next up was Anna Jay taking on Top Flight’s Leila Grey. This was essentially a tune-up match with Anna Jay taking on Mariah May for the Women’s World Championship this coming week on Dynamite. It was also announced that a similar match would be occurring on Collision tomorrow night with Jay taking on Viva Van. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie were seen looking on.

The Beast Mortos vs. BEEF

Next was Beast Mortos accompanied by Rush and Dralistico taking on BEEF with JD Drake.

It was noted that Hologram had been injured by La Faccion Ingobernable. These two beefy beasts pummeled each other hard including Mortos dropping BEEF hard on his neck and head early on. Mortos gave up a lot to BEEF in this match, going about ten minutes and giving BEEF a few big near falls. LFI then got involved, pushing BEEF off the top rope behind the referee’s back.

Mortos picked up the win and then LFI started beating down BEEF as JD Drake watched on. LFI then turned their attention to Drake and laid him out as well.

Harley Cameron, Always Must-See

If you haven’t been watching Harley Cameron promos, please start now. She’s always great.

Ricochet vs. Nick Wayne

The Rampage Main Event was Ricochet taking on The Patriarchy’s Nick Wayne.

As expected, these two are a great pairing.

Nick Wayne hit an incredible double underhook Destroyer on Ricochet after hitting Wayne’s World.

Ricochet then hit Vertigo but then followed up what had been his finisher with a sliding elbow strike to pick up the victory.

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita appeared and stared down Ricochet from the stage.

Announced for Collision Tomorrow Night:

  • Anna Jay vs. Viva Van
  • Jay White vs. Shane Taylor
  • Penelope Ford vs. Robyn Renegade
  • Ricochet vs. Lio Rush
  • FTR vs. LFI
  • MxM vs. The Outrunners
  • Wheeler Yuta Sit-Down by Nigel McGuinness

Final Thoughts

Ricochet vs. Nick Wayne is worth checking out, they killed it as expected. The Mortos/BEEF match was fun. Watch the Harley Cameron promo.
