Hart shares that she was not making enough as an extra to get the high-quality gear she wanted.

It’s been seven months since Julia Hart was last in action for All Elite Wrestling. She lost the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at the Dynasty pay-per-view in April and has since undergone shoulder surgery.

As she was partaking in a virtual signing for Highspots, Hart expressed that she’s just ‘waiting on the call’ to return to AEW.

Just waiting on the call (to return to AEW). Who knows when I’ll pop up? I don’t know.

As the signing went on, she spoke about the ring attires she’s had throughout her time in AEW. Hart mentioned that when she first started with the company as an extra, she did not have enough money to pay for high-quality gear, but Cody Rhodes helped her pay for it. Hart thanked Rhodes along with former AEW and WWE seamstress/designer, Sandra Gray.

So my first outfit I had, it was like a blue and silver and it didn’t fit me very well and it wasn’t as high-quality as this one was which Ms. Sandra (Gray) made me. Cody (Rhodes) also helped me pay for it because I also wasn’t signed at the time and wasn’t making any money to have some good, quality gear so shout out —

I think I was still getting paid as an extra at one point. I didn’t get an on-deal till like… I was getting paid for an extra for a while… Cody believed in me, Sandra believed in me and they helped me get good gear and I appreciate them for it…

Hart is a member of House of Black alongside Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews. The group was in action on the 10/23 Dynamite and after their trios win, Matthews called out Adam Cole for a singles match.
