Stories about McMahon via Estrada.

For four years, Armando Alejandro Estrada was a part of WWE. From 2006-2007, he was the on-screen manager for the late Edward Fatu a.k.a. Umaga.

During their run together, Umaga and Estrada were involved in the ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ Hair versus Hair match at WrestleMania 23 featuring Vince McMahon and Donald Trump. While Estrada was on K100 w/ Konnan & Disco, he told the story of when Trump made a comment about his limo being bigger than McMahon’s so some of the wrestlers that were with them could jump into his vehicle.

Estrada claims McMahon legitimately got upset and shouted at his limo driver to beat Trump’s limo to the airport.

Bro, there was a story — so we took Vince’s limo one day to the airport and I forget where we were but we took Vince’s limo and (Donald) Trump’s limo was also — we were flying out so we could go do a press conference, and Trump’s limo was bigger than Vince’s limo and he kind of saw me and Umaga and (John) Cena and Edge and some of the boys getting in and he rolls down his window… and he says to Vince (McMahon), he goes, ‘Hey Vince, since you have a smaller limo, some of your guys can jump in with me’ and Vince got so pissed that he yelled at the driver to make sure that we beat Trump’s limo to the airport. He was legit hot at Trump for making that comment about us having the smaller limo.

Elsewhere in their chat, Estrada recalled being told by a WWE writer that McMahon had a ‘meltdown’ in a production meeting when he learned Estrada was not Cuban. Estrada had been on the main roster for a year at that point.

I had been doing this (on-screen character) for a year. The writer comes up to me and he’s like, ‘Vince had a f*cking meltdown in the production meeting.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ The guy says, ‘Vince found out you weren’t Cuban.’

I said, ‘Well what did he think I was?’ And I guess somebody smartened him up and the quote was, ‘Well what the hell is he? Irani? Iraqi?…’ I thought I did a pretty good job if I could have the boss fooled for that long.

In September, Estrada revealed he signed a five-year Legends contract with WWE. The deal is for special appearances, merchandising and video games among other opportunities and ventures.
