Kyle Fletcher feels he has unfinished business in NJPW

One of the items on Fletcher’s checklist is to head back to New Japan.

As a member of Aussie Open and United Empire, Kyle Fletcher became a regular for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Alongside Mark Davis, they captured the NJPW STRONG Openweight and IWGP Tag Team Championships.

Present-day, Fletcher is signed to All Elite Wrestling but while appearing on the Battleground Podcast, he expressed that he has unfinished business in NJPW.

Sure, man (there’s people on my radar outside of AEW). I think one of the big things that I would like to do is go back to New Japan. I had a great run there. I feel like there’s definitely unfinished business. New Japan is — well, for a very long time was my favorite wrestling to watch. It’s my favorite style, I love how it’s treated like a sport. I would love to go back. There’s a lot of people I wanna step back in with. I wanna put Gabe Kidd in his place, I want to put those War Dogs in their place, I want to put Shingo Takagi in his place. (Zack) Sabre (Jr.), I’d love to step back into the ring with him. There’s a bucketload of people. Shout out to The VeloCities making their debut in Super Junior Tag League. Um, I still hate you (he smirked).

After turning on his back on Will Ospreay at WrestleDream, Fletcher and Ospreay are now set to collide. Fletcher called out his former partner to meet him in the ring on the 10/30 Dynamite.
