The tag match is official.
The next edition of NXT on CW is emanating from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 6th.
A new match was made official for the program in the form of Bully Ray and NXT Champion Trick Williams versus Ethan Page and Ridge Holland.
The match was setup on the 10/29 NXT. Bully told Williams the reason no one from the roster saved him from Holland and Page’s attack at Halloween Havoc is because he’s the champion and has a target on his back. Williams expressed how appreciative he is for Bully showing up for him and proposed the idea of the tag match.
Initially, Bully declined and said it’s not about him and does not want to take anyone’s spot. Later in the show, Holland and Page were in the ring and Holland said Ray made the smart move by not taking the match. Out came Bully and there was some trash talk between the two until Bully punched Ridge.
Page then ambushed Bully from behind which led to Williams making the save. Bully grabbed a microphone and accepted Trick’s offer.
