For the second night in a row, WWE was severely impacted running against the World Series with another major hit to its core demographic.

The October 29 episode of NXT averaged 588,000 viewers and 188,000 viewers (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Wrestlenomics & Programming Insider.

Both figures represent the lowest they have drawn since moving to CW. The overall viewership was down by 16% from last week and its lowest since July 2, 2024 (excluding the episodes on Syfy this past summer).

Its 18-49 audience experienced a 13% drop representing the lowest audience in the demo for NXT since July 4, 2023.

Game 4 of the World Series between the L.A. Dodgers and New York Yankees was the contributing factor with Fox averaging 16,275,000 viewers and 3.19 in the 18-49 demographic for its coverage of the game. Fox Deportes averaged 419,000 viewers and 0.11 in the demographic.

Cable programming was led by the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks averaging 1,068,000 viewers and 0.41 in the demo on TNT followed by programming on Fox News & CNN.

In Canada, NXT averaged approximately 49,000 viewers and 13,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 and didn’t rank among the top ten sports programs on Tuesday.

The show followed Sunday’s Halloween Havoc event with a main event involving tag champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer defending against Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander and an appearance by Bubba Ray Dudley and unadvertised ones by Rhea Ripley, Jordynne Grace, and Rob Van Dam.
