A legitimate injury that Ripley is dealing with.

On the 10/29 NXT on CW, Rhea Ripley appeared and was ambushed in the parking lot by Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. The attack was not shown on-camera, but when the camera panned over to Ripley, she was laid out by her car with blood on her face.

WWE sent out an update and noted that Ripley suffered a fractured right orbital socket and she’ll be sidelined for an undisclosed amount of time.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the injury is legitimate and it ‘most likely’ happened during the brawl on the 10/21 Raw involving Ripley, Morgan and Rodriguez.

PWInsider corroborated the note that the injury ‘likely’ happened on 10/21 when Ripley was headbutted during the aforementioned brawl. The site added that Ripley will no longer be appearing at the WWE Raw TV taping in Saudi Arabia following Crown Jewel
