A long-awaited broadcast deal for Ring of Honor reportedly might actually be around the corner.

The Tony Khan-owned wrestling brand has reportedly been pursuing a broadcast agreement, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reporting that “negotiations are close.”

While no information about how far out the brand might be to a new deal or who it could be with, Meltzer noted that rumors have been floated regarding TruTV as a potential buyer.

ROH hasn’t aired weekly programming on traditional broadcast television since 2022, shortly after Sinclair Broadcast Group sold the wrestling brand to Khan.

After starting as a brand integrated into AEW programming with its own quarterly pay-per-views, ROH’s weekly show returned in early 2023. The broadcast, which continues to premiere weekly on Thursdays, has since aired exclusively on the promotion’s “HonorClub” subscription service. The shows have mainly been taped during AEW events, either before or after live programming like Dynamite or Collision takes place.
