TJP and Francesco Akira will face Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita in the final of the NJPW 2024 Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
Eagles and Fujita of The Ichiban Sweet Boys, topped the A Block on Friday.
Saturday saw the B Block winners decided in Nagoya, with all six teams going into the final round tied on 4 points.
In the end, Catch 2/2’s TJP and Akira emerged on top after a win over The DKC & Ninja Mack.
Despite the day’s action ending with three teams on 6 points, the tie was broken because Catch 2/2 held wins over the other two teams from earlier in the tournament.
The final will take place at NJPW Power Struggle on Monday, with the winners getting a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4th.
The titles are currently held by KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight, The Intergalactic Jet Setters.
