While Moose has held many of TNA Wrestling’s belts, he can now for the first time call himself an X-Division Champion.

Moose dethroned Mike Bailey on this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT, putting away their 17-minute battle with a series of Spears to the incumbent champ. The win for Moose, his first title victory since losing the TNA World Championship in July, has been published in full to the promotion’s Youtube page.

A bad night for Bailey got worse after the match. Trent Seven, the ally of Bailey in the tag team Speedball Mountain, turned against him. Delivering a brutal low blow and then a Seven-Star Lariat before choking Bailey out with a towel, Seven suddenly put an end to their short run as a duo.

The recent result concluded Bailey’s third reign as X-Division Champion. He gained the title just a little over a month ago, defeating Zachary Wentz as part of Vicotry Road 2024. He defended the belt three times in the months that followed, including a win over the returning El Hijo del Vikingo at Bound For Glory last month.

Moose now adds the X-Division belt to his collection with past reigns as World Champion and Grand Champion.
