He’s back after undergoing a craniotomy.

It was in late October that 33-year pro wrestling veteran Osamu Nishimura underwent a craniotomy so that the cancer that spread to his brain could be removed. In addition to that, he’s battling stage four esophageal cancer. While navigating the esophageal cancer diagnosis, he learned in the summer of 2024 that the cancer spread to his brain.

Nishimura last wrestled on August 24th for the FMW-E promotion in an Explosion Deathmatch.

He’ll be returning to in-ring action for the promotion on December 12th.

There is going to be a six-man no-rope barbed wired deathmatch. It’ll be Atsushi Onita, Raijin Yaguchi and Mammoth Sasaki versus Nishimura, Katsushi Takemura and their mystery partner.

After undergoing the craniotomy, Nishimura immediately began rehabilitation. It was noted in the surgery write-up piece that if all went well, he’d be discharged from the hospital that weekend.
