** There’s a feature about Rossy Ogawa on the Proresu-TODAY website. He confirmed that when plans were coming together to launch Dream Star Fighting Gold, having talents from Actwres girl’z was not in the playbook.
At first, the Actwres girl’z were not part of the plan at all, and it was just seven people, including former STARDOM wrestlers and Nanae Takahashi…
** Joining the HUGE POP! podcast was newly crowned AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, Davey Boy Smith Jr. As the conversation moved along, Smith Jr. was asked for an update on Teddy Hart. Smith Jr. hopes he’s alright. He claims he has not heard from or seen Hart in a couple of years. He said Hart always has a new phone number. When the topic of the Peacock documentary about Teddy was brought up, Smith Jr. said Teddy reached out to him to be interviewed for it. Davey said he was busy with things such as taking care of his pets.
You know, I hope so (Teddy Hart’s doing okay). I believe so. I’d seen that he was back up in Calgary and he was living — I actually don’t know where he’s living at, because his parents have a nice house up there and they’re retired and you know, I’d seen some pictures and maybe it’s good that he’s come back to Calgary and he’ll be around family and everything like that. It was very sporadic with him because he would text me or call me and I wouldn’t recognize the number, because I’m not kidding, I’ve got like 15 different — like, Teddy Hart one, Teddy Hart two, Teddy Hart, Teddy Hart Daffy Duck because that’s my nickname for him. Teddy Hartz with a ‘Z.’ Just to save these different numbers, and then you’ll never hear from that phone number (again) so I don’t know where he gets these phone numbers or, different states and all that but, I hope he’s doing okay and he’s calmed down, he’s off his — whatever his issues were he had legally and he’ll have a good second half of his life and you know, still be able to compete in the ring on occasion. I don’t know what his goals are or anything like that or what he’s got going on because I hadn’t seen or heard from him in a couple years so I’ll tell ya, to be really honest with you, I don’t know. So, I hope he’s doing okay.
No (I have not seen the Teddy Hart Peacock documentary). You know what? I swear to God, I didn’t watch it… It’s a sad story and I just — you can’t answer what you haven’t seen, right?
He had contacted me on a few occasions to be a part of that or be interviewed in and I was busy, so… I had a lot of things to do so… I have a lot of things to do, you know? Got my cat, Mittens the cat and the dog to walk. I just couldn’t do it. I just was busy so…
** After Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became SmackDown Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania XL, the duo was presented with new belts; the WWE Tag Team Championships. Waller told Chris Van Vliet that him and Theory legitimately did not know what the belts looked like until the reveal on television.
We (Austin Theory & I) shoot didn’t know what they (new WWE Tag Team Championships) looked like either. So I had my acting skills ready so if these suck, I’m gonna be so happy to receive these sucky belts but then they showed it to us when we revealed it and they were awesome. It’s enough old school where you’re looking at those almost Ruthless Aggression Raw Tag Titles — mixed in with a little bit of new flare. It’s perfect and we’re the first ones to hold that. Doesn’t matter who has it now. We were the first ones and no one can take that from us.
** The main event of TNA’s 2024 Bound For Glory pay-per-view saw The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) become TNA World Tag Team Champions. Jeff spray painted the ladders, tables and ring canvas used for the match. While appearing on Rewind Recap Relive, Matt revealed that it took Jeff 10 days to finish his artwork on the canvas.
I really have to stress, Jeff (Hardy) went so above and beyond in the creation of all this amazing artwork on all of the inanimate objects we were using for the match. The fact that he painted that canvas. It took 10 days, and like he did say, he did a time lapse of all the videos. He worked so hard on it and he’s so passionate about it and just the whole feel and the vibe…
