Kingston said the match was awesome.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods) formally emerged as a trio in WWE in November of 2014. Highlights from their journey were reflected on by Kingston as he was speaking to Metro.

One of those highlights was when Woods and Big E challenged The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships inside Hell in a Cell. Kingston described the match as ‘awesome’ and joked that he’s a little jealous he was not part of it.

It was pretty awesome (Kingston said about 2017 Hell in a Cell match between New Day & The Usos). I’m still a little jealous of the fact that I was on the outside.

November 28th will mark 10 years since The New Day’s debut. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce revealed that there is going to be a special episode of Raw this month to honor 10 years of the trio.

The closest TV date to their anniversary is the November 25th Raw. As of late, Woods and Kingston have not seen eye to eye on WWE television.
