Present-day, both Adam Cole and Ricochet are members of the AEW talent roster. The last time they shared a ring together was when both were a part of the NXT brand in 2018 and 2019.
Cole made an appearance on 3NT Wrestling and expressed interest in having a match with Ricochet under the AEW banner.
I would love it too (another match against Ricochet). Again, Ricochet is one of my favorite opponents. He’s a superhero. He’s just unbelievable; the things that he can do. So I’m so excited that he’s here in AEW and I don’t see any reason why at some point down the line, we can’t do Adam Cole versus Ricochet two in AEW now. I hope so. Me too, me too.
Ricochet is currently gunning after Konosuke Takeshita’s AEW International Championship. Cole recently lost a singles match to Takeshita that would’ve added him to the MJF versus Roderick Strong match at Full Gear.
