Monday’s taped edition of WWE Raw finished in its regular placement ahead of everything on cable except the NFL.
The November 18 edition – taped one week earlier in Grand Rapids – averaged 1,516,000 viewers and 563,000 viewers (0.49) in the 18-49 demographic, per Programming Insider and Wrestlenomics.
Raw fell 3% in its overall viewership and declined 14% in the 18-49 demographic from the previous week’s live episode.
The 0.49 rating in the demo was only topped by ESPN’s coverage of the Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans with 7,490,000 viewers and 2.42 in the demo and the thirteen-minute kickoff show.
The NFL game was simulcast on ABC, which averaged 8,622,000 viewers and 1.46 in the demo, and ESPN2’s Peyton and Eli with 878,000 viewers and 0.30.
Across the three networks, the game was watched by an average of 16,990,000 viewers.
Raw averaged 1,502,000 viewers and 0.49 in the demo during the first hour and 1,530,000 and 0.48 in the second hour.
In the 18-49 demographic, male viewership decreased by 5% this week averaging 431,000 viewers while females increased by 10% with 220,000.
On Sportsnet 360 in Canada, Raw fell to its lowest viewership of the year with 149,700 viewers which was a drop of 36% from last week. The 25-54 demographic averaged 55,700 and was down by 58%. Raw ranked sixth among sports programming on Monday behind the Montreal Canadiens vs. Edmonton Oilers, Monday Night Football, and the Toronto Raptors vs. Indiana Pacers.
Raw returns with a live episode next Monday from Glendale, Arizona for the go-home edition of the show before Survivor Series.
