While wrestling at AEW’s Full Gear, Big Boom A.J. was not at full strength

The former independent wrestler who has gained notoriety as an influencer, performed at the pay-per-view this past weekend with a broken foot, according to a report.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed with AEW that AJ (Andrew “A.J.” Befumo) broke his foot earlier that day but kept quiet regarding the injury and worked the match with QT Marshall.

The outlet adds that A.J. was seen on crutches after the match.

A.J. defeated Marshall on the Zero Hour portion of the show in Newark in a segment that included his son, “Big Justice” (Eric Befumo), and personality The Rizzler (Christian Joseph).

The promotion and match received a lot of praise after Full Gear and got over strongly at the Prudential Center.
