NXT falls against Dancing with the Stars, College Basketball

NXT posted its lowest 18-49 audience of the month while airing against a college basketball game and a big episode of Dancing with the Stars.

The November 26 episode averaged 632,000 viewers and 201,000 viewers (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, per Programming Insider.

Its overall viewership drop was 6% and the 18-49 decline was 20% with the core demo dropping to its lowest mark since October 29.

NXT averaged 0.10 in the 18-34 demographic for the evening.

The second hour of NXT aired against a Kansas vs. Duke basketball game, which averaged 2,019,000 viewers and 0.55 in the 18-49 demographic on ESPN, which was first among prime-time cable programs.

The top program on television on Tuesday was Dancing with the Stars with an audience of 6,364,000 viewers (which Programming Insider notes is the show’s largest audience since November 2020) and 1.14 in the 18-49 demo on ABC.

NXT averaged 83,000 viewers and 41,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 in Canada, which were decreases of 14% and 18% respectively from last week.

NXT ranked ninth among sports programs on Tuesday in Canada.
