Kevin Nash will require surgery for a torn biceps muscle.
Nash felt a “pop” in his shoulder while training about a month ago and had an MRI to examine the issue. Initially, his Orthopedic surgeon didn’t believe he had sustained a tear and continued to train without issues.
Nash explained the issue with his left arm on the latest Kliq This podcast.
Last Friday, he sensed his left biceps cramp up and knew there was a problem and learned he does have a tear.
Nash described the procedure he will undergo where the surgeons will make an incision and weave the sutures into the tendon. He added that he has a bone spur at the end of his humerus and wants everything taken care of since he can’t do anything with the arm for six weeks after surgery.
He was scheduled for a stem cell procedure but due to the recovery time, he will need to push that back.
