MLW returned to the Melrose Ballroom for its ‘One Shot’ event and saw the crowning of new MLW tag team champions.

The main event of the show saw Satoshi Kojima & Okumura defeat Contra Unit’s Minoru Suzuki & Ikuro Kwon to regain the tag titles.

Suzuki & Kwon won the titles in August by defeating Kojima & Okumura, who are now two-time champions.

The show included Eric Bischoff presenting the card on behalf of MLW and opening the show by addressing the fans before he was confronted by Matt Riddle & Tom Lawlor. This led to Riddle being forced to put his future MLW title shot on the line in a match with Donovan Dijak on the show.

Bischoff was also involved in an angle where he “fired” Alex Kane after his match with Bobby Fish.
