UFC President Dana White had a terse response when asked about Conor McGregor having been found liable for sexual assault.

At the UFC 310 press conference on Saturday night, White was asked for his reaction to the McGregor verdict.

He responded, “What do you mean, what’s my reaction? If I had a comment, I would’ve put it out already.”

When pressed on the prospect of McGregor making a comeback to the UFC octagon, White added: “He hasn’t been fighting here in — I don’t know how long. Well, if he does fight, it’ll be sometime next year.”

On November 22nd, McGregor was found civilly liable by a jury for raping plaintiff Nikita Hand in a hotel room during a night out in Dublin in 2018. The court ordered him to pay €248,603.60 (approximately $259,000 U.S. dollars) in damages.

On December 5th, Justice Alexander Owens further ruled that the UFC fighter will cover most of Hand’s legal costs, estimated at approximately €1m million.

Some products and companies associated with McGregor have ended their relationships with him and some of his products in the wake of the verdict. McGregor has indicated that he will appeal.
