Eddy Thorpe interrupted a segment involving Oba Femi and NXT Champion Trick Williams. Thorpe accused Femi of being the attacker that took him out of the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline because when Thorpe was ruled out, Femi was his replacement and went on to win the match. Femi mostly ignored Thorpe during the segment and focused on Williams. Williams would end up granting Thorpe a title shot for the 12/17 show in Lowell, Massachusetts. At the end of the show, while backstage with General Manager Ava, Thorpe revealed that he lied about being attacked. He stated that he got his title match without having to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Ethan Page failed to become North American Champion when he lost to Tony D’Angelo.

NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom were backstage and Frazer expressed that he felt bad about Axiom having to carry the load for their team at Deadline. In the opening match of the P.L.E., Frazer competed in the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Axiom added that he did not like Femi being a last-minute entrant that his partner was not prepared for. Both Axiom and Frazer went to speak with Ava without each knowing. Coming out of their meetings, Axiom got a match against Oba Femi on 12/17 and on that same show, Frazer got them an Tag Title defense against Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang).

There was a backstage segment with Lexis King and former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf.

Adding on to the 12/17 lineup is ZARIA and Sol Ruca versus Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson).
