Reed sustained a foot injury in the men’s Survivor Series match this year, suffering the medical scare due to a Tsunami frogsplash off the top of the WarGames cage and through a table. Slow-motion footage of the moment showed that the right foot of Reed landed awkwardly, likely causing the injury that has put him out of action.
It was a rough setback for Reed, who was riding high on the momentum of just recently joining Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline faction and getting placed in WWE’s biggest active storyline.
Reed has been kept in high spirits since the injury, having posted about the moment and publishing optimistic messages about his future.
“I believe that in this business, you have to keep evolving. This is just another time to do so,” Reed said on Monday. “Your outlook on situations can make or break you. My spirit is unbreakable.”
