Eddie Edwards and a front-row fan exchanged slaps during an incident at TNA Final Destination on Friday night.

The altercation occurred during a match for the TNA Tag Team Titles. Edwards was teaming with Brian Myers to challenge the Hardys.

At one point, a man was yelling at Edwards, who responded by yelling back and slapping an object out of the fan’s hand.

The man then slapped Edwards, who immediately slapped him back and shoved him into his seat.

The entire incident was shown on screen, with Edwards yelling, “I’m still having fun. Now, we’re having fun,” into the camera right afterward.

The strikes that were exchanged did not appear to be hard, leading some viewers to take to social media to claim the incident was a planned angle. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that the fan was escorted out of the building and the police were called.

Neither Edwards nor TNA had publicly commented on the incident at the time of writing.

Edwards and Myers lost the match. A full report on Final Destination is available here.
