Highlights from the call.
Coming up on December 20th is Ring of Honor’s Final Battle pay-per-view from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. The match card is rounding out and ahead of the show, AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan hosted a media call.
Khan stated that more matches for the pay-per-view are still coming together. He alluded to E.J. Nduka and Lee Johnson being added to the mix.
Elsewhere during the call, Khan was asked about the AEW/GCW relationship. He stated that it ‘remains to be seen.’ He mentioned that Matt Cardona requested the Chris Jericho-GCW appearance to help build their title match at Final Battle. Khan added that AEW often shoots angles in other promotions.
