Streamers were thrown in the ring to celebrate Komander.
There was a Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World Television Championship at Final Battle. Going into the elimination match as champion was Brian Cage and he defended against Willie Mack, Mark Davis, Komander, Blake Christian and A.R. Fox.
While the match was taking place, Cage and Davis’ match on the Holiday Bash episode of AEW Rampage was airing. Cage and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Below is the order of elimination in the Survival of the Fittest match:
- Brian Cage eliminates Willie Mack
- Brian Cage eliminates A.R. Fox
- Mark Davis eliminates Brian Cage
- Blake Christian eliminates Mark Davis
- Komander eliminates Blake Christian to become new ROH World Television Champion
The newly crowned champion Komander is currently competing in the Continental Classic tournament. As he was exiting the stage at Final Battle, he was making his entrance for his tournament match against Brody King on Rampage.
Komander is set to face Claudio Castagnoli in a tournament match on the 12/25 edition of AEW Dynamite.
