Match results

  • The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga) def. Andrade, Apollo Crews & LA Knight
  • Carmelo Hayes def. Braun Strowman
  • Johnny Gargano def. Alex Shelley
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) def. Candice LeRae and Nia Jax

** After a recap of Saturday Night’s Main Event, SmackDown began with The Bloodline coming to the ring. Solo Sikoa cut a promo on Roman Reigns before being interrupted by Drew McIntyre. The Scot pointed out that it was Sikoa who cost him the WWE Title at Clash at the Castle 2023. However, he also acknowledged that Solo was the only member of the family who stood up to Roman Reigns.

** McIntyre said he would work his way through the original Bloodline and Sikoa could take care of Roman Reigns “for good.” At this point, Jimmy Uso appeared and beat down McIntyre with a crutch. LA Knight, Andrade and Apollo Crews came to the ring, setting up a six-man tag as the first match of the show.

** During the match, Shinsuke Nakamura came to ringside and attacked LA Knight. This helped the heels to the win as Sikoa hit Crews with the Samoan Spike for the pinfall.

** Byron Saxton was with the Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley said he wanted to face Johnny Gargano on his own.

** A recap of Kevin Owens’ off-air attack on Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event was shown. Byron Saxton said Rhodes was resting at home. Owens, holding the winged eagle WWE Championship belt, then appeared via video and said what happened to him was a travesty. He said he wouldn’t give the belt back until he gets what he wants, and that what happens next is up to WWE officials.

** Braun Strowman, dressed as Santa, was the guest on The Grayson Waller Effect. He was billed as the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history. Carmelo Hayes interrupted and challenged Strowman, who tore apart the talk show set and accepted the match.

** Strowman dominated the match, but Carmelo Hayes won by count-out after the two fought outside the ring and Strowman threw Hayes back into the ring just as the referee counted to 10.

** Backstage, Strowman was on the rampage looking for Hayes, who attacked him with a chair from behind before running away.

** Tiffany Stratton was frozen out backstage by Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. They told her to stay backstage during their title match.

** Alex Shelley and Johnny Gargano were having a very good singles match when Tommaso Ciampa appeared at ringside. Chris Sabin came out to help but Shelley was rolled up for a quick pin.

** Right before the main event, Naomi refused to take hold of the Women’s Tag Team Title belt until she had earned the right by winning the match against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.

** Belair was isolated by the heels for much of the match, finally getting the hot tag to Naomi after a miscommunication between Jax and LeRae. Blood was visible on Jax’s head after a spot where she was thrown into the ring post. Tiffany Stratton came to the ring and offered the MITB briefcase to Jax as a weapon. The referee intervened. During this confusion, Naomi got the pinfall on LeRae.
