Swerve Strickland instructs crowd to throw toilet paper at Ricochet at AEW Worlds End

A humiliating end to Ricochet’s night.

The second semifinal round match of the AEW Continental Classic tournament saw Blue League runner-up and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada face Gold League winner Ricochet.

Coming out of the match victorious was Okada. He’s headed to the finals to face Will Ospreay, who bested Blue League winner Kyle Fletcher in the opening match of Worlds End.

After Ricochet’s loss, a member of the audience threw toilet tissue in the ring while he was taking in his loss. Swerve Strickland made his way out to the stage area and reminded Ricochet that he said he’d go further than Strickland did in the Continental Classic. Both were bounced in the semifinals.

Prince Nana joined the mix and he had a wagon full of toilet tissue rolls that he passed out to the crowd. Strickland then instructed the crowd to wish Ricochet a happy new year by throwing the rolls at him, which they did on the count of three.
