Four matches now on the bill.

The first NXT on CW show of 2025 will be New Year’s Evil on January 7th. Two matches joined the show lineup during the 12/31 NXT.

There was a singles match between Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice that saw Jordan get the win via unrequested assistance from Cora Jade. After the bout, Stephanie Vaquer entered the mix to offset Jade, but the segment ended with Vice accidentally knocking Vaquer to the mat with a spinning backfist.

Later in the show, General Manager Ava announced that at New Year’s Evil, it’ll be Jade versus Vaquer versus Vice versus Jordan to determine who gets the next shot at Fallon Henley’s Women’s North American Championship.

In addition to that, there is going to be a rematch for the Heritage Cup. After the controversial finish involving William Regal that led to Lexis King becoming the cup-holder, Ava said there was a grey area regarding the finish and if it can change hands that way.

She stated that at New Year’s Evil, King and Charlie Dempsey will meet in a sudden death match for the cup. Regal added that he’s not going to be involved. She then handed the cup back over to Dempsey. Here’s the updated lineup for New Year’s Evil:

  • NXT Championship — Triple Threat Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Oba Femi vs. Eddy Thorpe
  • NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Giulia
  • Fatal 4-Way Match — Winner gets shot at NXT Women’s North American Title: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Cora Jade
  • NXT Heritage Cup — Sudden Death Rules: Charlie Dempsey (c) vs. Lexis King
