Jun Saito ends Davey Boy Smith Jr.’s reign as AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion

A new Triple Crown Champion.

Closing out All Japan Pro-Wrestling’s December 31st event was a Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship match that saw Davey Boy Smith Jr. defending against Jun Saito. 

Coming out of the match with the victory was Saito, who has now captured the first major singles title in his career. Jun, alongside his brother Rei, are currently the AJPW World Tag Team Champions. 

Smith Jr.’s reign began in early November. Below are the full results from the AJPW New Year’s Eve show:
