Varon will not be getting merchandise for a year.

Over the summer, Lisa Marie Varon a.k.a. Victoria revealed that she signed a WWE Nostalgia contract. The two-time WWE Women’s Champion discussed the deal as she was doing a live signing on Whatnot.

While speaking about the merchandise aspect of the deal, Varon explained why her merchandise will not be rolled out until nine to 12 months from present-day.

You guys are asking about the legends stuff. I don’t get merch for a year. So, I asked if I was gonna get Funko POP! and they said, ‘Hey, don’t get ahead of yourself,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay.’ That’s probably a no, so, these POP’s that I have — I don’t have all of them. I get the other nine in April.

I got a Legends contract. They call it Nostalgia contract. So, I’ll be getting more product. They’re gonna be making more product of me. But, not for nine to 12 months. That’s how long it takes to create.

Elsewhere during the signing, Varon confirmed that she’ll be in WWE video games. She is planning to go live on Twitch when that comes to fruition.

Yeah, I’ll be in the WWE games.

On January 17th, Friday Night SmackDown is emanting from San Diego, California and Varon resides in the city. She stated that she does not want to be a bother and ask for tickets.

Varon added that she does not get free tickets to WrestleMania either, but she’d never ask for that anyway.

See, the thing with me… when I go to the shows, I don’t ask for free tickets. I like to support the product but, I’m not one to bug and go, hey, can I come to the show? I think someone said, ‘Hey, do you get free tickets on WrestleMania?’ I go, ‘Absolutely not. Are you kidding me? I wouldn’t even ask. I wouldn’t ask. I’d be embarrassed.’ I was so — just so excited about getting the Nostalgic Legends contract. Now, I can use the WWE logo, I can use ‘Victoria’ on my (advertisements), which is incredible and you know, that’s my home and I’m just very proud to be a part of the company still. Very excited… I still can’t believe it. It’s weird. I don’t know if they don’t comp, but I don’t ask for freebies. I don’t know. You might see me there. I don’t know.

January 2023 was the last time Varon wrestled. She returned to in-ring action for IMPACT/TNA and challenged for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles alongside Gisele Shaw.

Prior to that, she competed in the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble match.
