The final edition of WWE Raw on the USA Network aired against the largest Monday Night Football audience of the season.
The December 30 edition of Raw from Houston averaged 1,596,000 viewers with 711,000 viewers (0.53) in the 18-49 demographic and achieving its largest figures since December 2.
It is a very strong performance against the Monday Night Football game between the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers, which was broadcast across ABC, ESPN & the NFL Network.
The combined audience watching the football game was 22,208,000 and a 5.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The live episode of Raw attracted 1,665,000 viewers (0.54) in the first hour and fell to 1,526,000 (0.52) in the second hour, which culminated with the in-ring segment between CM Punk and Seth Rollins.
Raw’s audience grew by 10% while the demo increased by 27% over last week’s taped show.
In the 18-49 demographic, Raw ranked fifth for the night on all of television behind the NFL.
It was also Raw’s final episode on Sportsnet 360 in Canada where it averaged 174,700 viewers and 80,000 in the 25-54 demographic. It ranked fourth for the night in sports behind the NFL, World Junior Hockey, and an NHL game.
Next week, Raw launches on Netflix with all of its programming moving to the streaming service in various international markets including Canada.
