The opening match of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19’s main card was the Tokyo Terror four-way Ladder match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
Emerging victorious to become champions were TMDK’s Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita.
The new champions spoke to the press afterwards (via @IssitaMarie on X) and while doing so, they were approached by Rocky Romero and YOH.
Romero had a contract for a title match at NJPW The Beginning in Osaka on February 11th and the bout was agreed to.
