Desperado wins via referee stoppage.
As El Desperado and DOUKI were getting into the mix of their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, the bout was thrown out by the referee.
The champion DOUKI suffered a injury near the guardrail and was deemed unable to continue. Commentators Chris Charlton and Walker Stewart both mentioned that DOUKI appeared to have fractured his hand.
As a result, Desperado was declared the winner and he is now a five-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Afterwards, Desperado got on the microphone and said he and DOUKI will run it back.
