Fujita pulls the titles down for himself and Eagles.
Kicking off the main card of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 was the four-way Tokyo Terror Ladder match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
Going into the match as champions were the duo of Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA. They defended against BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney), Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) and T.M.D.K. (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles).
Towards the backend of the match, both T.M.D.K. and Catch 2/2 were trading blows at the top of ladders. Eagles and TJP were knocked down, and Fujita and Akira went back-and-forth while the belts swung above them.
Akira turned his body which led to Fujita holding him down and then grabbing the titles for himself and Eagles. Fujita and Eagles won the 2024 Super Junior Tag League to get the Junior Tag Title match at Wrestle Kingdom.
It is the second time Eagles has held the belt and the first time for Fujita.
