STARDOM’s Momo Watanabe has won the inaugural International Women’s Cup at Wrestle Dynasty.

She emerged the victor in a four-way encounter against ROH’s Athena, AEW’s Willow Nightingale and CMLL’s Persephone.

The match was the first bout on the pre-show portion of the card at the Tokyo Dome.

Along with the trophy, Watanabe may now challenge for any of the top women’s titles in the other three promotions.

The match marked the Tokyo Dome debut for all four competitors.

The finish came when Thekla interfered to break up a pin attempt by Athena on Nightingale after the ROH Women’s Champ hit the O-Face.

As the referee remonstrated with Thekla, Watanabe used her baseball bat to blast Athena and grab the pin.

It is the first time Athena has been pinned since July 2023, when she lost to Willow in the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semifinals.
